New Features:
- Jet Fuel Availability: You asked, we delivered! Jet fuel is now available. You can find it on our interactive map or when planning a trip. We've added 44 new fuel stations and updated 164 existing ones.
- Aeronautical Museums: Discover beautiful aviation-related museums in Europe. We've referenced the ones near airports so you can visit them and have a great time!
- Fuel Station Comments: You can now comment on fuel stations and share useful information with other pilots.
- Airport Page Updates: Directly access ourairports.com from airport pages to update any outdated information. These updates should be available in our next release cycle.
Improvements:
- Points of Interest: We've made a major improvement to our points of interest logic, which previously disadvantaged small airports. The number of points of interest has increased by over 300%! Try it out and see the difference.
- Ground Wind Speed: We've changed the logic for ground wind speed. Exceeding wind speeds on the ground will no longer affect the Flyzone, enabling more good weather zones for trip planning. The value you enter in your preferences (Alert ground wind speed (kts)) will now trigger an orange "warning" indication when you consult the weather forecasts.
- Icon Rebranding: We've updated our icons, including specific icons for non-ICAO airfields (now green).
- Interactive Map: Improved icon sizes and cluster optimizations for a better user experience.
- New Tags: Added new tags to points of interest for better categorization.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed some display bugs on mobile devices.
- Resolved issues with pilot activities for the pilots we follow in very rare cases.
- Various minor fixes and improvements.
Ongoing Issues:
- Interactive Map Loading Time: The loading time of the interactive map is currently too long. We're working to improve it. If points of interest do not show up immediately, please wait a bit.
