As the year 2024 comes to a close, we want to thank you for your loyalty and continued support. We have some exciting news to share with you, including features specifically designed for flight schools and students.
New Features for Flight Schools and Students
We are thrilled to announce new features that will make your flying experience even more enriching:
Runway Surface Selection: You can now choose the runway surface you expect at your destinations. If you're used to landing on concrete runways during training, use Weekend Fly to discover unpaved runways nearby and expand your skills!
Lighted Runways Search: Perfect for Night VFR training, you can now search for destinations with lighted runways. Discover aerodromes you didn't even know existed, and enhance your night flying capabilities with a bigger variety of airports!
Weather deactivation: By popular demand, you can now deactivate the weather constraint (represented by the green Flyzone) when searching for destinations. This feature is ideal for planning future flights and exploring new destination ideas, even if you're not expecting to fly yet. Look forward to more features around this in 2025, including the ability to mark airports that interest you!
